“I wholeheartedly endorse, support, and encourage Scott Wagner to serve as a circuit court judge in Waukesha County.
Today, it is more and more important that we elect judges who not only know the law, but carry with them the requisite accumulated wisdom and experience to serve in these critical roles. Scott Wagner absolutely fits the bill: he is bright, talented, and experienced in the law. He has the breadth of legal expertise rarely seen in a judicial candidate. But, more than that, Scott is a litigator who respects the law and the judicial system as a whole and has the even temperament to be able to impartially and fairly decide legal controversies.
I can clearly state that Scott has all the intrinsic attributes that demonstrate that he will be an excellent judge. Not only do I consider myself fortunate to have known Scott for many years—during which I had the opportunity to witness firsthand his exemplary character, keen mind, and clever wit—but I am even more proud to consider Scott a true friend. Because of his background experience, his ability to solve complex legal issues, and his judicial demeanor, I was one of the first to encourage Scott to serve our great County as a circuit court judge.

I have gotten to know Scott through my own campaign process and have found him to be honest, genuine, and eager to serve his community. Scott has decades of complex litigation experience and is ready to apply that experience and his conservative judicial philosophy to his work on the bench. Scott and I have had many discussions about the importance of not only defending the Constitution, but also respecting and acknowledging the role of the judiciary. Scott understands that the judiciary has no role in creating law, but rather a judge must apply the law as it is written by the People’s representatives. I have complete confidence that Scott will apply the law as written to the facts before him and make decisions impartially as all good judges must do.
